Hi, I only got my first mac yesterday so please bear with me! I installed msn messenger for mac and have since found Adium which I like way more so I decided to uninstall msn. However when I drag the msn messenger application from the application folder to the trash I get the following message:

The operation cannot be completed because one or more required items cannot be found.
(Error code -43)

Has anyone come across this before or got any ideas on how to get around this so I can remove it from my system?

Thanks

Matt.

Reinstall messenger, then use a program like AppZapper to remove it (I think AppZapper has a free trial). After reinstalling messenger, fire it up once, close it, then run AppZapper and drag the Messenger program to Appzapper. It will delete MSN Messenger and the preference files associated with it. :)
