not within the first 8gb of the disk.

this is the message i get when i try to install osx v10.1 onto an imac i was given.

the imac has 9.2 installed and just the other day i found this osx v10.1 complete box at a thriftstore so i thought id load it.

can anyone tell me whats happening and how to fix it ?
