Im just now wanting to do my first JB... I have an iPhone 4 with iOS 5.0.1... and i keep getting an error when i try to JB it... heses what im doing
run redsn0w 0.9.9b8
extras > select IPSW
i click the 5.0 fw file i downloaded
back out to the first page and hit jailbreak
with install cydia check, i click next and next again
followed the directions on how it enter dfu
it changes to waiting for iphone, then exploiting with limera1n, then finally uploading first stage.... almost as soon as it says that, it will say exploit failed.... am i doing somethign wrong?
