iOS error itms-9000

I am in the process of submitting my first app, and after the upload takes place, it says that the following issue was found during validation.

Error itms-9000: "no architectures in the binary. Lipo failed to detect architectures in the bundle executable."

I am still very new to code and I have no idea what is going on. If anyone knows how to help with this issue, please reply. Thanks!
