I need help....
I have jailbroken and unlocked my 3G..iOS 4.2.1.
As everybody will know, as part of the unlock, the baseband was changed to the Ipad baseband.
I wanted to have mutlitasking and found online a program called "IPhone Explorer" that would allow me to view and modify the code that would control this feature.
At the following blog, was the instructions how to do this code change.
"apnidukaan.blogspot".
After performing this mod, I could not boot up the 3G.
So I tried to perform a restore through Itunes by using the custom ISPW I used to jailbreak the device....I got the error message in Itunes of 1015.
So I then tried to restore just using redsn0w and got the same error message.
I am using the latest version of Itunes and I have tried rebooting my laptop with no luck.
I am not able to restore the device and only have the "connect to Itunes" in the display.

I appreciate any suggestions/help anybody might have.

thank you

Hello Bandolier:

thanks for quick reply.
I have not used "tinyunbrella" before...
Can you help with the process?
I have downloaded the program.

thanks

I think i had a similar problem though i can't remember the exact error #. I believe there 2 possible fixes for me. One was to make sure itunes was the latest version and two was to make sure my hosts file was not pointing to the wrong apple server.
