I recently purchased Fusion 4 and qualify for the upgrade to 5. However, when I submit a picture of my receipt I keep receiving an error message in safari: "file should be an image alone". What does this mean? The picture I am submitting is the correct size and format and I took it with my iPhone.

Why not just try a different browser, firefox, chrome. Are you sure it has to do with the browser and not the vmware website itself?
I have attempted to send this from multiple computers using firefox, safari, and internet explorer. Any idea what this error means?
