Error Message when attempting to move iPhoto Library

I am trying to move my iPhoto Library to an external harddrive. I have iPhoto 09, a unibody MBP and 10.6.2. I follow the directions exactly as apple says on their website and after the transfer gets about halfway done I get this error:

There is no other item on the harddrive with that filename, just a couple of folders.

What am I doing wrong? The external harddrive has 1.5 TB available.

I cannot wait for those 1TB internal drives to be available...
