Error message with Archive Utility

Everytime i try to unzip files i get the error message "Error 1 - Operation Not Permitted". I have tried restarting my computer but no luck. Any ideas?

could it be password protected try something like betterzip

archive utily can not handle password zip files

I'd also go for the password thing, but if it is not the case, maybe the file is just corrupt. Try unzipping another file to see if that's your problem. You can also try it from the terminal.

unzip /filepath
gunzip /filepath
