I'm in the process of migrating my data from a Macbook Air over to a shiny new MBP, but Migration Assistant fails with the following (repeated hundreds of times with only a slightly different path):
There were problems transferring the following file(s):
- 2008-10-15 11:19:05 -0700 Error copying file at path /Users/tomwynne.noindex/Library/Application Support/SyncServices/Local/DataReferences/000/.BC.mvlk9b. Operation not permitted (1)
Migration Assistant then fails to migrate the account.
I created the backup copy using SuperDuper, then attached this via USB to the new machine. I'm in the process of backing up again using Time Machine in the hopes that it might avoid the above, but does anyone have any thoughts on what causes the error? Searching Apple Discussions/Google unfortunately turned up nothing useful.
Thanks,
Tom
