I have this message that keeps popping up when I launch Cydia:

Error: Refreshing Data
The method driver
/usr/lib/apt/methods/http could not be found

What does this mean and does anyone know how to rectify this error?

Thanks in advance :)

Appreciate your help :)

I did what was mentioned on the link and sadly it still does not work! Can you replace the HTTP file (i.e. download the HTTP file and copy via SSH ?!)

Cydia is really getting pounded right now. There are thousands of iPhone, Touch, and iPad users jailbreaking with Spirit and surfing, downloading from Cydia and RYP. Saurik even posted on Cydia that users are hitting him hard trying to recover/check/find if there SHSH is on file. Be patient and give it a day or two to settle down. You may have to do a restore and then jailbreak again with Spirit.

Good Luck
