Errors 16xx or 10xx

hey,

i keep getting errors when i try to install a .ipsw custom (16xx) or original (10xx).

my iphone 3g was on 4.1.2 with a ipad baseband (06.15). I don't know if now it is i on 3.1.3 or 4.2.1 but i can not install any firmware because i keep getting those errors. please help ? I am running mac osX 10.6.8
