Errors when trying to save a file on usb

I've started getting this error in the last few days. Does anyone know why I'm getting this?


If I press save anyway, it says this


But the permissions look fine to me and nothing is locked on the file's get info. It also creates this strange looking file after saving it


It's happening on every file on the usb

What kind of USB drive, how is it formatted and did you format it yourself after you got it?

Yeah I've even tried formatting it since this was happening, taking the files off and putting them back on. its FAT32, as I also use the USB on a windows machine too.

Try another flashdrive.
