I am looking at buying an external hard drive and I'm curious about the types of external interfaces. I know that usb 2 is significantly slower than firewire but I was curious how much faster esata really is. I have a rev a macbook pro so I have the slot for one but I wasn't sure if it was worth the money to switch over. I would probably only get a 3.5 7200rpm drive to hook it up. I was also curious if anyone sold a esata express card that only had 1 hookup but was streamline to be flush with the outside of the macbook (instead of having 2 on top of each other and then being too thick to fit completely in the express slot.)
