Hi folks,

I have two external hard drives.
First is Lacie 4big quadra. It is connected to my mac via FW800
Then I have a g-raid connected to the lacie via FW800. This all works fine.
Both external drives have eSata. Is it possible to connect the two drives together via eSata to take advantage of the faster transfer speeds between the two drives? Even though the first drive is connected to the mac via FW800.

I tried and the second drive didn't mount when connected via eSata.. but maybe I am doing something wrong...

Anybody have any experience with this?

Thanks!

I'm not quite sure i see the difference...
But would this work?

I can get quickly from a store near my place.
It is to go into a G5 Dual 2ghz powerpc.

The Dynex 2 port eSATA II PCI-Express Adapter quickly brings the impressive speed and high performance of this superior interface to PCI enabled systems, and also compatible with Apple's first generation Mac Pro and Power MAC G5 Dual-core. It allows you to connect up to two external SATA devices with 3Gbps bandwidth for fast data transfer.

It says it works

True, But i always tend to trust you guys more than store descriptions...

Thanks I'll go get it!
