Hi, I recently have this passion for esata on Mac.

Why esataP (power over esata)
1) 3-5 times faster than USB (e.g. 3 hours compared to 1 hour writing to external device)
2) 3.5" HDD no longer need power adaptor, (cheaper and faster than 2.5")
3) Seamless transition, no tweak to OS, drivers or Bios, for it is a simple bracket for internal SATA and USB.

I am still asking the administrators for permission to see if I can send in a bracket and cable for review.
Hope more Mac users can benefit with this technology! Especially those who plays with large files like video editing. :apple:

Yours truly,
Colin
