I ordered an FL1100 USB 3.0 ExpressCard, but now I see that this solution might be lacking UNMAP.

No news on eSATAp ?

I found some 1-port eSATAp (USB 2.0) that should work by installing a non-hacked driver (Silicon Image SIL3132).

I don't care that it is USB 2.0, it is to use as eSATA+power

I ordered one, we'll see.

I could not find any 2-port (even if I would power only one device, maybe they should make an eSATA+eSATAp card, I understand the chipset is good for 2 ports).

I tried the eSATAp card. As I suspected, the SSD mounts but it's not stable, as the slot does not provide much juice.

So it doesn't make sense to use it with such a slow chipset if I have to add a power cable.
