Escape Key Broken: Can I Remap It?

All buttons from the escape key down to the caps lock key on my aluminum keyboard are dead. I can do without all of them apart from escape. I was wondering if there is software out there that can change the keyboard layout?

I'm running 10.5.8 Leopard on a dual 1.8 G5.

I use a free program called KeyRemap4MacBook that can do this. It may take a little bit to figure out how to script the key swaps, but it totally works.
