Received some ESR cases so thought I would test them out and put up some pictures, as well as links in case anyone is interested in getting one.

First case is the clear glass case. It's a hard polycarbonate case that feels like glass, very rigid and should provide excellent protection. Fits nicely, and provides good camera protection as well as screen protection when the phone is put down on it's front.

Second case I tried was the kickstand clear case. This is a softer type case with a lot more of a rubber like feel. Should provide more impact resistance as it will absorb impacts better I think. It also has a nice metal kick stand built into the rear which allows you to sit the phone down in a number of positions to view it either at your desk or at home when watching videos etc. Buttons feel very nice and clicky too which is always nice.

The last case I tried was the silicone case. This is pretty similar to that of the Apple case just without the price. It is fully MagSafe compatible and does have the ring inside the case much like the genuine Apple cases have. Very nice feel in the hand, buttons feel great, the blue is like a royal blue (doesn't look cheap) and it fits the phone perfectly.

All the cases were of very high quality, I've bought ESR products in the past and they've always fitted and lasted well. So if anyone is looking for alternative options, these are well worth a look.

I have an ESR case on my present iPhone 8 and was looking forward to another on a 12 Mini in January. What I have now is the softer clear plastic so I can see the color of the phone. Looked on Amazon and couldn't find one that didn't have the "kickstand". Have you seen any soft clear plastic ESR without the kickstand?

They have an official website, where you can see all of their cases:

Their cases seem to be cheaper, if you order them on aliexpress...

With clear cases, I have never been fond of the water looking look, they have on the back of the case (air captured between the phone and the case).

Does this one seem to do that?

In the blue silicone case, the fit at the bottom is not tight, as the lightning port cutout is visible from the screen side...is it the same with the apple silicone case ?

The ESR silicone you have with the Magsafe circle inside; is that this model:

or this one:
www.amazon.com/ESR-iPhone-Pro-Max-Shock-Absorbing/dp/B08CXXFY1B/

?

A review on Amazon of one of the ESR silicone cases says theirs is kind of "floppy" around the lightning port.

Not mentioned here, but I bought the ESR Clear Case from Amazon for my iPhone 12 Pro and it was terrible - more jelly like & not as hard as the "glass case" shown first above. I've had their glass screen protectors before which have been consistently very good, but this case was poor:

Felt a bit cheap & too shallow all of the way round, not deep enough to get a proper protective lip around the front edge of the phone. The top left side around the volume buttons was also quite baggy, it was 'bowed out' with such a gap to the extent that phone didn't look square anymore. Very disappointing, but able to return free-of-charge back to Amazon which is excellent service.

Replaced with Spigen Liquid Clear Case which addresses both of the above problems & generally feels much better quality, though I appreciate not everyone will like it being a bit chunkier. I prefer the jelly cases as being easier to grip than the hard backed versions:

I’ve just received the ESR Metro Leather case in blue after 2 attempts with the Apple leather case that were returned doe to the ‘corner popping’ issue. Pics below but it is very similar to the Apple leather case with a few differences:

+ Cheaper (this was £28 rather than £48+ for the Apple case).
+ The attachment to the phone feels far more secure (probably how the non-faulty Apple cases are) and I haven’t once experienced similar corner issues.
+ It’s a full leather wrapped case like the Apple case rather than just a leather back like some others (Bellroy, Nomad).
+ The buttons are metal and just as responsive as the Apple case.

- It has small ESR branding on one of the sides but it’s small, on the side and embossed (rather than coloured) so hardly visible.
- The leather isn’t smooth like the Apple case and is much more textured. It feels a bit more ‘papery’ than the Apple leather - unknown how it will wear with time (subjective whether this is a negative).

All that to say, at approx half price I think I’m sold on this rather than keep trying with the Apple cases to find a Baltic Blue leather than doesn’t have issues. If the quality control on the Apple cases was better then I would still spend the extra on the Apple case - it felt ever so slightly (very marginally) better in the hand due to the smoother leather and I know from all my previous ones that they wear/patina really nicely as they age.

I have the ESR cloud series Silicone case and I think it's too slippery. I'm returning it.

It looks like a decent alternative but I worry about the quality of the leather, especially with how thin it is.

Does the silicone feel that Apple’s silicone? My husband has the clear with kickstand. He really likes it.

I have the Baltic Blue and the Product Red. Neither has problems with the corners. I guess I was lucky.
