I am planning on purchasing a new mac either MBP, MBPR or just a Macbook but I wanted to know before I do is Apple planning on any new releases/upgrades within next 2 months?

Nobody here knows. Have you checked the Buyers guide? You could make a semi educated guess based on previous trends.

That sounds kind of odd. You plan on purchasing either the classic MBP, the rMBP or just the MB?

Those notebooks are vastly different. Which one are you eyeing?

In any case, some expect the MB not to be updated in the coming months, perhaps later in the year. Some hope the rMBP is updated in March, or June at the latest.

The classic MBP is the safe choice. That one won't be updated in the coming 100 years! (sorry, couldn't resist)
