Ethernet Connected, but no IP - hardware defect?

Hi,
i have a very strange issue on my old mac mini 5,1 (2011, with dosdude1s patches). Recently i cant get my ethernet to work anymore. It detects a plugged in cable, but it doesnt get an ip. another mac works well with the same cable. wifi works without a problem.

In the past i had such issues with my hackintosh systems, where the original mac driver didnt work with exact the same issue. so my question: is it possible this has something to do with the patched mojave or is the NIC broken?

Was any networking kext patched on your system? What does System Information say about your Ethernet? What does kextstat|grep Ethernet return in Terminal?

as i said, this is a macmini. kext was loaded, but i fixed it already by reinstalling the OS
