Ethernet Connections Changing IP

Hello Everyone! It's my first time on this forum.
I'm moving into dorm soon, and they provide ethernet LAN internet connection. The problem is that I need to sometimes change my IP address for a website that I always use. I have a Macbook Pro, and I know that I can use it as a router to share wifi to my other devices, but is there anyway I can change the IP address from my router?
