I am trying to share my AirPort connection from my early 09 iMac to my Mac Pro 1,1 and I am having nothing but problems within OS X. I have 10.6.8 installed on both machines. If I share internet from windows on the iMac I have zero issues. When I try doing the sharing method within the preference pane, I run into the issue of the internet not sharing properly. I have messed with the DHCP settings and used my own ip addresses on both machines and still doesn't work. I used to have this working without a hiccup. I also tried both ethernet ports and every combination of changing the IP addresses.
