Hi,

Could this be OS related? I start to suspect my M4 Pro Mini developed ETH port fault.
If I use ETH->USB-C then it works fine.

It worked fine for the last few days. 😢

the part of the log is probably quite insightful, so if you can’t prompt the LLL/LRMfor further info to drill down on the cause, I suggest to provide that log info to the humans who read here. :)

You might want anonymise some things in it so.

I will wait for Mac Os Taco to become public and then will report to Apple.
I have a feeling that the ETH port is damaged or something.

It worked fine all the time until it didn't, and I didn't change any settings. With other cable got the same issue.

So they replaced my logic board and still same issue.

I wonder if it might be my Vodafone router being an issue.

Just some thoughts (worth what you paid for them)

New logic board and same problem?
It's probably not the Mini (hardware).

It MIGHT be a software setting.

Is the ethernet/USB adapter working well (again)?

What I'd try:
Connect via the USB/ethernet. We know that works.
Then go into the "Network" settings, pick ethernet and click "details"
Then, I'd start "clicking through" each of the items "on the left", and take a screenshot of each pane of settings.
(I wouldn't be able to remember them all later).

Then...
I'd connect using the Mini's internal ethernet port and REPEAT this process.

Once I had the "two sets of settings", I'd compare them side-by-side.
What's the same, and what's different?
I'd pay most attention to the "hardware" settings.

Again, just some thoughts.
May be of help, or may not.

Maybe worth a try. Change Configure to Manually, and the Speed to 1000baseT if you have a 1GBit Ethernet port.

So I had my Mac at Apple's contractor twice, even replaced logic board. Ethernet worked fine for them.

I had to change settings to manually and now it works, no idea why I need this with my Vodafone router, and why I don't need to change anything if I use ETH->USB adapter.

Apple networking is substandard and slow. macOS network file copy is the worst. Running a Windows guest in a VM on the same hardware runs circles around macOS.
I get faster downloads from the Internet than from another Mac.
I always check the hardware settings on Ethernet. Often, I have to pull and reset the cable of a running Ethernet.

Frustrating.

I remember from some time ago AVB/EAV mode being a problem with some ethernet adapters.
You might try to disable this setting and see if that changes anything.
