Ethernet Solution Please

Hi
Can i ask is their a way that can connect my time capsule via ethernet only and use it as just as external
hard drive with knocking off my wifi i have read that ethernet take preference over wifi , i just want to use
time capsule as local storage. Thank You

Just attach the TC to the Mac then turn off the wifi in the TC. Then go to System Preferences on the Mac and in the Network pane, click the cog at the bottom and select Set Service Order... like in my screenshot. Then drag the wifi to the top of the list and apply that change. Then the wifi will be first priority followed by the rest. This way the Mac will use wifi for Internet, but still give you ethernet cable access to the TC.
