For some reason, my ethernet internet won't work. When I plug in the cord, the Network preferences say it's connected and show my IP address, however no pages load due to no connection to server. As soon as I unplug the ethernet cord from my MBP, however, it works right away via AirPort.

Also, the ethernet cord works fine with another MBP, connecting right away. I don't think the ethernet port is broken necessarily, as it recognizes it being plugged in and the IP my router is distributing. However, it's not connecting correctly and that I don't understand.
