I just researched iPhone service options, some satisfied customers, some non-satisfied ones; many tabs open.
On one page (sorry, I forgot to bookmark it) it was said you can get a better service, esp. if it is a non-standard issue if you mail-in to Apple. And there are tons of pages detailing how the store/service accuses the customer she has tampered with the device, when it was not the case (as iPhone thefts and whatever tampering is rampant).
So the question if you get a better service if you bring in to a random Premium Service Provider in a random country or if you mail it in? Especially in the European countries; in which countries you can mail in? Is there a rule of thumb; such as if you have Apple brand stores in the country you can mail in; if not then not? ir sending to another Eu country where there is more infrastructure?
I understand that the drawback of sending in your phone is you are left without it possibly for days, but I don't care. Anyways, what are the set prices for sending in? You pay for posting in, and Apple pays for posting back?
