If anybody is still using Eudora 6.x, you've probably noticed that it started giving an error about "no response from server" for 120 seconds last week, give or take.
The cause is apparently that Qualcomm turned off the ad server that Eudora was accessing in Sponsored mode, so now it gives that error after a 2 minute timeout. It doesn't affect Eudora's functionality at all, but if you want to remove the annoyance, this thread has some options:

In particular, this post explains several methods in detail:

...basically use LittleSnitch, IPFW, or something similar to disallow access to port 80 at 192.190.109.20. Or, alternately, come up with a serial number from somewhere and switch to Paid mode,
You can no longer buy one, nor will you ever be able to since they've ditched the program, so if you get one it probably won't be strictly legit. According to that thread, they haven't just given out a free serial because of some licensing agreement with a 3rd party that owns some part of the code.
Or just switch to Mail, Thunderbird, or the beta version of the Thunderbird-based Eudora 8 in development (which is apparently not very stable). I no longer use it myself, but several people where I work do, so I suddenly had a bunch of questions about a weird error Monday morning.
