Just to update, in case anyone cares, France won the Bronze after playing Spain and Germany and Greece are fighting for the Gold. Last time Greece won this was in 1987.

I personally like euro-style basketball versus the more entertaining slam-dunk in your face NBA-style.

I just think the NBA's new slogan should be:

NBA-We call ourselves WORLD CHAMPS when we only play teams in North America.

I find it simply amazing. Such a small country with such a huge miracle run. It is the summer of 2004 all over again.

Yeah, I realized that from the start. No problem. I am not looking to win a thread popularity contest.

I wanted people to know that basketball exists outside of the states, and in a big way. We all have the internet, right?
