For the months of June and July, I embarked on a backpacking trip throughout parts of Europe, spending a month in England with family before leaving on a three week sojourn through the western/central parts of the continent.

Photography was half the raison d'etre of the trip, and I've managed to put together (using iMovie) a stop-motion video of some of the highlights of the trip.

Thoughts? Comments? Feedback? :)

Nice video.

I find the black spaces between every sequence a bit jaring though. Perhaps because the sequences are so short. Of course, I'm not sure what I'd do, perhaps quick fade ins & outs of each sequence while keeping the space. That might not work with the music though.

Thank you for sharing.

Looks good, although time lapse is better suited to longer sequences where a considerable amount of change occurs.

solution!

thanks for posting this.

i have to make videos for my student society and I was having a hell of a time because getting a smooth flowing video was impossible on the bumpy pavement. I explored a heap of options, all too expensive, then I saw this post.
Now we are making our orientation videos like this:

it's a rough draft, but you see what i mean,.
