EVDO Card Anyone?

I am out of broadband choices besides satellite and EVDO. I'd rather take a 5GB limit than a big latency time. So has anybody had any experience an EVDO card as their main internet source?

I don't have any experience with EVDO, but typically, latency on cellular networks is just as bad as on satellite, if not worse. I've seen it reach times in excess of 1 second on EDGE
