Is there a EVDO card available which can be connected to the MacBook using USB or Firewire?

I have the CradlePoint device as described in the above link and it works great with my Verizon USB720. I can get a signal to multiple NoteBooks and iPod Touches/iPhones. -GDF

There are USB EVDO air cards available from Alltel, Verizon and Sprint so it will just be a matter of choosing based on carrier coverage in your area. I would go with Alltel of the three if you have Alltel EVDO coverage.
