If I am planning on selling my iP4 to pay for the next one anyway, contracts aside, wouldn't it make more sense to buy the new iPhone even if it is a minor upgrade, because then when the next major upgrade comes out, the newer phone will be worth more than the older one. Anyone have the same mindset?

I am sure not everyone has iPhone 4. Some people still have iPhone 3G or 3GS. So, they will be most likely jump into iPhone 4S with same mindset like yours.

I will decide once apple finishes up their announcement.

You might end up paying an extra $250 to get the new one anyway so it probably evens out.

Or keep your current phone, stick the extra money in the bank each month and draw interest on it, sell your ip4 later for less but also have more PLUS interest in your pocket would the way to go in MY book.
