I still think it is hilarious that they would use anything that could be mistaken as an apple product to non-geeks.

They are trying to change the windows image so drastically so they use a mac. It also doesn't fit with their "Be what's next" slogan. Maybe "Be what seems already successful". :D

Don't get me wrong, not knocking Windows 8. I just find their choice in hardware funny.

The videos isn't there anymore.

I just checked it again the link above and it plays fine for me

Well, considering they're just selling an Operating System, an OS that also runs on Macs, it could well be a Mac. You think Microsoft cares if their OS is running on a Macbook? They don't make any less money from the sale.

I fail to see why people still see it as Ironic or a fail when they see Windows running on a Mac, especially during that Microsoft presentation.

That's not a mac, just look at the touchpad. My guess is, that its one of the HP knockoffs.

Can you recognize a non apple?

To be talking some smack it might be nice to at least be on target ...

Wow, I almost fell off the chair laughing. Sounds like it's not clear as to the point of my first post. It was just that I found humor in they used something that looked like a Mac. Not to talk smack or however else it's been mis-interpreted. Just a friendly conversation.

I think it is obvious that MS would never use a Mac in their ads.

Ah well.
