Ever see this..."COULD NOT BUILD A PREVIEW BECAUSE OF A PROBLEM WITH QUICKTIME"

I have been having a kernel panic nightmare for the past couple of days and after doing an archive & install and all sorts of other crap, when I try to do anything in Photoshop, before the image will open I have to click through the following message:

"COULD NOT BUILD A PREVIEW BECAUSE OF A PROBLEM WITH QUICKTIME"

When I go to System Prefs and try to update Quicktime (I have a Pro license) I get this message...

"INFORMATION RECEIVED FROM THE QUICKTIME SERVER IS INVALID"

So.....WTF?!!
