Every 15 minutes I loose 100MB.

WTF ?
I am not doing any tasks, not downloading a single file, not backing up...just browsing macrumors.
I finished installing Mavericks about 2 hours and I had 60GB free. Half an hour earlier I had 50.5 GB free and now I have 50.3 GB free.
What is going on ?

I do not think so. I can't see spotlight indexing in Activity Monitor or in the Battery drop down menu (Apps using power).

Use the new disk tab on activity monitor. It gives per process disk monitoring
