Alright,

So my iPhone will not make phone calls. It can't answer any either. Yet I still get texts, email, ect.

It says call failed and my bars drop to one.

What the heck!?

It started when I updated to 2.2.1

I went to AT&T, they sent me to Apple, which I am going to tomorrow.

Is it Hardware? Will They give me a new phone?

We can't tell since we won't be diagnosing your iPhone, Apple will help you with that. Just make an appointment with a Genius at your local Apple store.

Apple will help. This sounds like to me like you might have a bad antenna, which as long as you're in warranty, Apple will replace.

And no, they will not give you a new phone. They will tell you to restore it. It even says in iTunes if you're having problems then restore, right next to the big 'Restore' button.
