It’s so frustrating that this is happening. Every time I raise my arm to use the watch, it’s asking me to enter the passcode despite that I never took the watch off my wrist. I did a full restore by erasing all content and re-pairing it to my buggy iPhone 11 running on iOS 14. Does anyone else have this issue?

how tight/loose do you have the band ?

I was thinking the same thing. If the OP has Wrist Detection enabled, it could be that the band is too loose. If the watch is still acting up even with an adequately tightened band, the OP could try disabling Wrist Detection, if he’s okay with that small loss of security.

OMG, I can't believe it's the new band that's causing the issue. Thanks so much for pointing out (the obvious)!

.... if you knew it was the band .. why do a full restore of the AW ? ... 🤣

you didn’t mention the band ..... if you know the solution why ask On here ?

Doesn't seem like that was known initially.

Sincere apologies ... I thought your response was sarcasm .... it appears not :)

Watch OS 7 is a lot more sensitive. I caught it locking on me when wearing my band loose like I normally do.

So it's a matter of sensitivity in the os7?

I've been having the same issue since upgrading and I even went as far as disable the passcode. It was driving me nuts, my use is exactly the same and no new bands since os6 but it just keeps on locking

It really could be.
