Every YouTube Video is Scrambled Now

Mine is a 2007 MacBookPro 17 w. Snow Leopard 10.6x.

1) I was researching material & watching YouTube videos an hour ago. I clicked one & the screen immediately went scrambled w. question marks & triangles, or some similar object. It seems to just be happening on YouTube videos.
All my other programs work. I don't know if this is a corruption or infection issue. I haven't rebooted yet.

2) This may or may not be related, partial solution.
I was advised to upgrade my Dvix & VLC player, as mine is an older model.
I've tried searching Filehippo.com, but the searches only produced Windows OS, not Mac.
Any suggestions to these issues is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Phil

I'd start with a reboot and see what happens. If the videos were working and then just stopped, it could be a temporary issue, not necessarily related to what you had done earlier.

1st Q Solved: YouTube Video Scrambling w. Reboot

Thanks. I rebooted & now the YouTube video works.

1) Can you/someone send me the Mac Divx & VLC player file link?

2) Also, my MS Excel when trying to open says "Not Enough Memory".
I haven't used it for some time & haven't changed the memory size.
The MS Word opens/works fine.
