Exactly how many tabs would you like Safari to keep open before it starts dumping them from RAM and therefore causing them to refresh?

Don't say 'all' because that's not a choice.

At least keep up with the competition!
Multitasking is essential...

Why are we using Safari as the end-all-be-all of why we need more RAM? Its one very specific use case.

5, but doesn't it also depend on page complexity?

That I do not know. Perhaps? In which case (in ANY CASE) I think Apple knows what they are doing. They know how to make an operating system run great and not require out of this world hardware specs.

I think if you've got more than 10 tabs open on a MOBILE device, you should just use a damn computer. But that's just me..

Depending on page complexity. I just went thru 4 Tabs and the ones with media on the page consistently caused the others to refresh. That kinda sucks for an item this expensive..

Honestly I never use tabs on my phone, it's just not quick enough to switch between them like it is on the iPad or desktop.

Yep... you're right. But that's what all these derpy derps keep harping about. They know nothing.

Before anyone says more RAM requires more power from the battery, read this.

Apple bragged the new Safari in iOS 7 can have as many tabs opened as you wanted.
