Hi,
my name is Simon, I am from Germany and this is my very first thread on MacRumors Forum.
I am a passionated Apple user and one of my hobbies is developing Mac software. Last year I started a small side-project with my company - a Mac app called "Everyday". It is a "personal" CRM (PRM) - an application to manage your personal/private relationships.
Everyday imports your local and online contacts and has a few methods to manage your relationship between them. It also features an automatic E-Mail importer which syncs with your E-Mail servers and downloads only the mails which are related to the contacts in Everyday.
All in all - it is basically a CRM system (like Daylite from Marketcircle) but more to manage your personal - your private relationships. In Addition it comes with task and basic project management (which we call "Topics") and a calendar.
Based on cocoa technologies like Core Data the core functions of Everyday have all been implemented. And now we started building the GUI. But to get a taste where this journey will go I want to use this thread to give you a small taste of Everyday using one of the first screenshots.
We are a passionated team. We strongly believe in Everyday. But there are some steps left. So we are also thinking of making a crowdfunded-campaing. There are now three persons working on Everyday and we want to start sharing our work to get as much feedback as possible. This is very important for us and will help us deciding the next steps. So let me give you a small summary of the facts of Everyday:
Current progress: Core 100% - GUI 10%
Development-Time relation: Core 10% - GUI 90%
So here is the link to the first GUI-Mockup of Everyday. It's filled with dummy-data so in case you wonder:

However,
we are asking for your help. Let us know what you are thinking about Everyday. We need this help to decide the next steps. Especially when talking about making Everyday a crowdfunded campaign. What do you expect from such a campaign? What do you think!?
Thanks,
Simon Kemper
