CANADA? eh?
A new Wii channel has launched in Japan this very morning, Nintendo offering gamers the chance to download DS demos and Wii trailers.

The channel is called the Everybody's Nintendo Channel, and offers videos of upcoming Wii releases, as well as the ability to grab small DS demos, which can be uploaded from your Wii to the DS wirelessly.

The downloaded demo in question is then stored temporarily on the DS' internal memory, and will disappear into the ether when the console is switched off. All these goodies are only available via Wii online in Japan, presently, and the Big N aren't saying when such offerings will be made available to US and European gamers.

More on this as we get it, then.

This came out today in Japan...no word on release in America

Finally Nintendo follows through on promises made as far back as GDC 2004! When do we get it? :(

I can't imagine the European one being far off. They're currently updating their site (which is good, it hasn't changed since the GC launch!) and I was told in an email that we're not too far off the Stars>Points conversion.

Make it happen! No VC purchases from me till it's fixed Ninty :(
