Honestly? Not much to get excited about.

If you’ve already got an iPhone 15 or 16 Pro, this release probably isn’t for you. The upgrades feel pretty minor, and I’m not sure who Apple’s really aiming at here.

The iPhone 17 seems to be the most cost-effective phone ever made, I guess it will be much more popular compared with earlier releases. It has the 120Hz screen with ProMotion. This is the top feature why people bought the Pro model. But at this low price point, how much would it contribute to Apple's revenue even it gets most popular...

For the AirPods Pro 3...who will buy it just for talking with foreigner? LOL. I mean Apple has to add some AI-powered features to be in line with other competitors. However, I don't see why people would upgrade. The previous version is good enough.

Forget about the new Apple watch series if you already have one...

minor?
it has 12 gb ram, 18% battery increase, anti reflective screen display, vapor chamber, front and back camera also upgraded. also 2 side upgraded ceramic shield. for 15 pro it seems worth for the anti reflective display , ram and battery upgrade. as for AI for got that dumb AI

I am excited about the blood pressure feature on the watch- read it’s coming to series 9 and up too. We will also be looking at the AirPods Pro 3 for Xmas- since our old series 1 are slowly phasing themselves out. The translation feature is intriguing!

If the iPhone Air had two cameras, I’d be tempted to switch from the Pro Max. Photography is one of my hobbies, and when I’m traveling I often use my iPhone for quick shots if I don’t have my Leica with me. A 35/28mm and an ultra-wide would be my ideal phone setup. The telephoto, on the other hand, feels inadequate — it’s not a true fast medium-tele or a proper super-tele, just a slightly sharper, [cropped] medium iPhone shot.

How often do you really run into RAM issues though 🤷‍♂️? A vapor chamber would only matter if the iPhone were unbearably hot to hold. Most people use a case, so the Ceramic Shield isn’t a huge selling point. Battery life and display are what would actually push someone to upgrade; especially if they’re coming from something like an iPhone 12 or older.

13 minutes? This video could've been a bullet point list:
  • AirPods Pro
    • Better bass and ANC
    • Longer earbud battery life, shorter case battery life
    • Heart rate sensor for some reason even though many users have Apple Watch
  • Apple Watch
    • Blood pressure monitoring, including last-gen devices
    • Little bit longer battery life
    • SE is actually a pretty good deal now
    • Ultra can connect to satellites
  • iPhone
    • Brighter and slightly larger display with Pro motion
    • Center Stage camera with dual recording
    • 48MP ultra wide camera
    • Faster charging and Qi 2
    • Apple N1 chip for efficient wireless networking
  • iPhone Air
    • It's thin and expensive
    • Only one camera
    • Battery kinda sucks
  • iPhone Pro - iPhone upgrades plus:
    • Vapor chamber with unibody for strength and heat dissipation
    • 48MP telephoto that can do 8x 12MP compared to previous 5x
    • 56% larger sensor in the main camera to improve image quality
    • Actually great battery life improvements
    • Lower display reflectivity to improve outdoor contrast
    • ProRes RAW video that maybe 0.02% of people will use
    • MOAR RAM

So still no chance for charging AirPods directly on an iPhone back. Can someone confirm?
I feel like they would've mentioned this. Maybe they're artificially holding back on this for a year where they have even less new stuff to add. It's kinda disappointing given that the new AirPods Pro 3 case has 20% less battery life. Might need to get a tiny USB-C cable for my keychain when traveling.

i miss the product releases of the Jobs era
Jobs was the "The Godfather" of the hardware era. Given the current technological limitations, there really isn’t much room left for significant hardware improvements other than thin, thick, camera features, foldable, battery life etc.
Smart use of AI in products is the future, no doubt about it! ... for which, I believe  is well aware and on board.

and 2 of those 13 minutes was an ad lol. Your TL;DR is perfect

Did I hear that trade in prices were increased for current models for a 17? I thought I heard something like that.

While 12GB ram is healthy I am willing to do 1 lap around my neighborhood nude if Apple would allow for actual multitasking and background downloads from non Apple apps.
