Everything Downloads on top of each other in the Downloads folder

I download lots of stuff... and everything goes right into the downloads folder. Thats fine... but everything drops in the top left corner of the window so things get put on top of each other constantly. Is there a way to change that?

In Finder, go to View -> Show view options and choose to keep arranged by name.
