(Running latest updates to everything mnt. lion) I opened my external drive (Icydock - 3x3tb=9tb consecrated drive), and everything was gone! The main folders were there (movies, photos, music) but they were mostly empty. I have older backups that are quite sloppy, but the real kicker is my backup of iPhoto is empty too. It said there were errors and needed to rebuild library, but it didn't. Techtool Pro5 saw that the individual drives were fine, but it couldn't rebuild the drive when I had them connected. Disk Utility said everything was ok. All was working fine the night before. Firewall was off. I doubt that is relevant. I can't pay 1000$ to get the last 4 months of photos back, but i also cant lose those photos. Right clicking on get info, shows the drive itself is mostly empty. getting info on iPhoto library says its the usual 300gb! there are no photos under 'masters' either. What the.....

help if you can:confused:
Thanks
Mike
