Alright. I experience the same problem with a movie on my iPod as well...

Try this...
1.) Open iTunes
2.) Look to the left of the screen and click when it recognizes your iPod..
3.) Then click the movies tab..
4.) Click sync movies

Ok from here, make sure the movie that you want to be transfered is checked.

Hope this answers your problem.

sorry... that didnt work either.
it says
ERROR
This disk could not be read from or written to,

:(

uhhhh another weird thing just happened... all my playlist and songs dissappeared under the devices-> my ipod...

however my songs are still in my ipod :)

I am about to smash this gadget into a thousand pieces!!! IT JUST DELETED ALL MY SONGS ON MY IPOD AND I JUST RESTORED IT AND NOW ITJ UST WONT SYNC ALL THE SONGS ANYMORE!!! AHH!!!
what can I do?!?!?

it syncs like 30 songs and then says its not connected... !!!

also says the required disk cannot be found. i think i might just take this to the apple store and get a new one or something. this one seems to be having way too many problems.

Sounds like a failure on the device's side. You might just have an error with one of the files you are transferring over, though. If it has an error on the same song/movie a few times, try skipping that one instead. It probably won't help in your case, but it has happened to a few people on these forums already... worth a shot.

Oh... and is the movie truly Ratatouille? ;)

update ;
I got an email from an apple person saying what to do

I made sure everything was up to date, and then i deauthorized and authorized the computer... and checked these other links in case it didnt work.
It still hasnt gone on. There was this one time where it ALMOST got o finish syncing then it said the ipod was not connected. Incredibly annoying

this may be a ridiculously obvious question, but you do have the movie saved on your computer, right? And it's in .mp4 format?

If it was the wrong format, it would say "Could not copy 'movie name' because it cannot be played on this iPod"

well if i bought it from the itunes store, it saves to my computer, right? all my other stuff did. and how do i make sure its in .mp4 format?
