Everything white on the screen bleeds teal??

Hey all,

I had an issue recently with my macbook pro where suddenly most white objects on my screen turned teal (see picture). It only happened once, and occurred on both the 9400 integrated GPU and the 9600GT discrete GPU. Hooking it up to my Apple cinema display did not show this. Eventually the teal bleed flickered on and off, then disappeared and hasn't come back since.

Has this happened to anyone else? I'm debating bringing it in for repair before my applecare expires.

First thing first, try resetting the SMC and PRAM.

If that doesn't resolve the issue, then your graphics card may failing.

could be, why so hesitant to even bring it in if you have applecare

Your MBP is not working right, regardless of the potential cause, I'd just take it in.
