If i press in the "toungue" or the plastic part of the macbook under the clicker, it makes a creeking noise when pressed and then stops???
Sorry if it doesnt make sense. I don't really have a good way of explaining it.

Are you referring to the indentation on the front of the MacBook?

yeah i think the problem might have gone away. I still have the squishness on the side by the ports on the screws...thts the only thing that bugs me about my machine

Yeah, that's normal. The screw on that side is just ornamental; it doesn't fasten to anything, which explains the squshiness.

It's not normal. Neither one of my MacBooks were like that.

In fact, I had to send this one out for repair (case was falling apart and battery was warping). It came back squishy under the mouse and on the left sides. I sent it back and told them to fix it right. A $1406 (after taxes) computer shouldn't be squishy.

There are usually some minor faults that are considered within the normal range by manufacturers; I suspect the squishiness typically falls within this range.

Regardless, it's pretty common. Mine is squishy but it never bothered me.

Then again, I'm the least anal Mac user I know.
