I have a brand new Mac Pro 15in 2.4 ghz intel core i7 800GB 8GB ram ddr with a intel HD 3000 512mb gfx card including OS x Lion 10.7.3

and as soon as I start a session my screen shifts to the side where it looks like it cut in half and then it freezes with a message telling me to power cycle my laptop. any idea why this is happening. If i run any programs that require some video card help this machine doesn't do the job.

this is my 2nd day owning a Mac and its not impressing me if my 2001 HP can handle the stuff this machine can't run.

You're under warranty, bring it in for repair, you definitely have a defective computer, it should be able to run WoW just fine.
