EVGA UV Plus+16 not working in Mac Pro[Details]

Ok hope I am clear about this. I just got this little thing and works perfectly in my Mac Book windows and osx. I am trying to figure out why my MacPro OsX is not displaying but would display in Mac Pro bootcamp Windows XP. I tested different means but it would not indicate anything in the screen. Does anyone have any idea to this problem? I know its not the unit as it works with other computers but its something with Mac Pro OSX.

Open to any ideas to test this out.

I know its a silly question but if this is a new Mac Pro, have you installed the drivers for it?

BTW Why would you ever want to use such a device in a Mac Pro when you could just get a PCI Express graphics card and have far smoother video output links??

I am using the 2007 Mac Pro model.
I am using two LCD monitors but want to add my television for my boxee purposes. Due to me being short a DVI cable, I am only able to connect the EVGA to my LCD TV but would not display anything but my Mac Book works fine and Mac Pro Windows XP works also.

Also its cheaper than buying a graphics card and portable.
