I had Evidence Eliminator on my P.C., I liked it becouse it
emptied all caches and cleaned the hard drive, making it run
better (at least I think it did).
I know that evidence eliminator isn't made for macs
and I was wondering if there is an alternative for mac ?
or is it not nessesery for mac ?

Cocktail

Look up Cocktail with a quick Google. It fixes permissions, cleans the caches, prebinds your system and runs the cron scripts (maintainance programs) which by default run at night if you leave you Mac running 24/7. There are a few others like it but I am not familiar with them, anyone else??

Also, Onyx.

Onyx seems to be a litte unstable on my PB, but it does what it's supposed to.

I like it.

Or, try Maintain.

For Macintosh maintenance, I use Yasu exclusively. Just to be safe, I always boot the Mac into a Safe Boot (shut down the Mac, push the power button to turn on the Mac, hold down the Shift key as soon as the gray screen with the spinner appears, release when you see the message "Safe Boot") before running Yasu, then restart normally after it's done.

There was a program called Spring Cleaning. A bit expensive for what you get though. I'd check VersionTracker.com.
